Strawberry Planting
Autumn 2002

Ms. Hobbs got strawberry plants for us to pot and grow. First we put on our gloves for safety. Two people shared a pot and plant. Teacher put our names on the pots so they would not get mixed up.

We filled the pots with gravel for drainage and compost for the plant to grow in.

Everyone took turns.

Then we brought the pots from the yard to the front of the school.

We will bring the strawberry plants in at the end of January and we should have strwberries by June.
