Dutch "Arretjescake"

Two children from our partner school in The Netherlands, Rene and Joey, showed us how to make a Arretjescake today.

They got all their ingredients and showed us how they made it over the WebCam. This is the recipe;
Ingredients: about 250 g dry biscuits, 225 g butter/margarine, 150 g sugar, 8 g vanilla sugar, 6 spoons, cacao, 1 egg.
Preparation: Break the dry biscuits into pieces. Melt the butter and add the sugar, vanilla sugar, cacao and the egg. Stir till itīs well mixed and add the dry biscuit pieces. Pour this mixture into a caketin and put it in the fridge for about a day.

The origin of this recipe is soemwhere in the north of the Netherlands apparently.
