| Two students from Fourth Year, Presentation College, Fergal Grace and Gavin Moynihan (A Past Pupil of Greenmount) spent the week of October 8th. to 12th. doing their Voluntary Community work in Greenmount School. | |

| They coached the girls and boys from Third Class in the basic elements of Chess. They worked with groups of 6 to 8 chldren at a time during the course of each school day. | |

| All the children greatly enjoyed the coaching sessions and have benefitted enormously from the experience. | |
